Not for smart rodents

Mice outsmarted the cage! Set it up with bait and let it hang out for a bit of time, like the instructions say to do, along a wall. About a week later we set up the trap to catch the mice. It’s been a few weeks and 0 have been caught but all the bait is gone. I thought maybe it’s something other than a rat/mouse eating the bait but there’s a bunch of rat/mouse poop as evidence. I have the squirrel version of this cage and it works wonders, but I guess the intelligence between ground squirrels and the rats or mice in my garage are vastly different.

Unhappy !!

This does not work !! We have had 2 rats get in and then got right back out. It was more money than i wanted to pay but if worked okay. IT DOESNT WORK!!!

Sorry to hear about your experience. It does work, but if your rat got the door down, pick the trap up for some time and relocate it. That usually does the trick.

The Ratinator is Wonderful

This is the best trap ever. The first night I caught over 30 rats. The second night was around 25 the third night 11 and the fourth night was five. Highly recommended.
