CatchMor Ratinator is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny - highly effective This trap advertised it can catch up to 21 rats at once and I caught 22 the first night. It's well-built and easy to set and bait. This is a great alternative to poisons. I wired it open the first night so the rats got used to it and then activated the next day.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Catch and escape Needs improvement to keep the rats from an easy escape. They go out the same way in by pulling the door down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect, no kill trap!!! I found this to be most excellent! I was shocked to see that I had some ratties moved into my property. Not big and ugly, but more than I'd like to have, of course. I live in the woods on 11 acres but they seemed to want to be close! No, no, no! Maybe they were attracted to all the bird seed I had been putting out. They were in competition with all the chipmunks I have. So my first night I caught my first little guy and took him off to release near the river. Trapped some chipmunks but let them go. Last night I looked and there was a mom and five babies!. Released again down by the river, a safe place for them. So easy to use. Put bird seeds, cheese and some bits of bacon in the center fill. Easy in for them and they cannot get out. So easy to release. I soooo like it because it is a no kill trap, of course!. I'll see what tonight will bring. The price is so worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well! I bought the estimator skeptical of whether it would work or not! Day one we caught only 2, day 2 only 2 again. Day 3 we caught 13 and day 4 we caught 11! Hopefully soon our rat problem will be at a minimal and we won't have to use this so much. It has definitely been a purchase worth the money so far!

Will this trap mice as well?  Are they able to escape?

Asked by: JoyceF
Hello, Our Ratinator is not for mice. The size of the mesh is too big and they can escape.

Is this built  relatively the same as the squirrel eliminator .. is the principal the same and is it possible that I could also use this to get squirrels or do they think different and react differently to this type of trap then the type that repeat u sel

Asked by: Boggy woogy man
Yes the Ratinator is built in similar way except the entry door is a pendulum style or reverse as the Squirrelinator door. Rats don't like to use their heads to push the door open but will walk over the wire door to get inside. Just remember to twist tie the door open for a couple of days and provide free food for 2-3 days then release the door down. The next day you should have some rats inside the trap.

Not sure about that, but if you have chipmunk problems you can buy the Chipmunkinator which is specifically designed for chipmunks.
