Squirrels are laughing at me

I put an ear of squirrel corn and a few pecans in the bottom of the trap
the corn is still there the pecans are gone... apparently the cage is so short the varmints can reach their paws in and get the pecans without going in the trap
have had it two weeks not one squirrel
I wasted my $$$$

Easy and Humane Squirrel trap

This was the 2nd trap we purchased of this kind because it works! Squirrels on my bird feeders were a nusance. We eliminated many squirrels from our back yard humanely by relocating live catches elsewhere. It is easy to set out and easy to safely release them into the wild without touching them at all.
