My 30 year old gelding is on a complete senior feed due to being unable to chew hay anymore (Purina Equine Senior). However, he developed FWS (fecal water syndrome). I started giving him 2.5lbs of this as a 'bed time snack' a few hours after he eats his dinner. He LOVES this and cleans up every last bit and it fixed his FWS problem. I do soak this well into a mash as I'm paranoid about choke.

I soaks fairly fast (30/45 min in warm water). I like that it's only 3 ingredients, more natural than many hay extenders that have lots of additives.
