I use these pellets for cat litter. Being in cat rescue we try to find products that work well at a reasonable price. It is great for cats because when they urinate, it turns the pellets to sawdust and it is easy to scoop out. No dust like the regular and clumping litter. A lot cleaner to use. Remember, don't mist it like you would for horses, just leave it as is and the cats will do the rest. Great buy for people with multiple cats looking for a cheaper and effective alternative.

Most of these reviews address a different brand. Not the new Tractor Supply brand. It is a very poor substitute - starts out brownish and is not nearly as absorbent as the ones they use to carry for less cost. I will not buy any more of it.

Excellent bedding. We don't have horses anymore, but we do have a young ferret. We didn't want to use shavings or kitty litter because they can both be respiratory irritants.
The pellets make cleanup easy, and keep the smells to a minimum.

I loved using these but my cat developed an ear infection/fungus in both ears and read a vet article saying Pine Pellets can cause it so had to switch back to messy clay litter.
