I bought three of these GMAX32's over the past few months for catching critters in the backyard. It is amazing what the cameras caught! Deer, Bobcats, Coyotes, Gray Foxes, Skunks, 'Possums, Wood Rats and Cooper's Hawk Oh My! Two of the three GMAX32's only take 10 second views as Boo1 mentions in their review, and they record sound on the video even though audio is set to "Off"! The one GMAX32 that does record 30 second video does tend to stick on IR mode during the day without rhyme or reason! Another quirk or feature is the sensitvity and 100 ft. range leads to a lot of videos showing slight movements of landscape, moths rain or mist setting off the cameras hours of nothing! I have a couple of Prevue 26's which I feel are overall better suited for my backyard.

I got this camera about 1 month ago and it is a very good camera. I can see what I am looking for perfectly through the view screen on the camera.

I've been using these cameras for several years now and absolutely love them. I run them with a Stealth solar panel and they run forever. Great pictures and great video. Love everything about them. Easy to set up and easy to use. If you're looking for a workhorse that is not a cell camera, this is it.

This is a nice camera but has some flaws. When I put the camera into video mode to capture a 30 second video, all I get is a 10 second video. Why put the option in the camera if it only takes 10 second video's? Other than that, It takes nice photo's, just remember to face it north so the sun never creates a blur or flash out.
