Love these cubes as they are great for senior horses when you need to wet them down. Only reason I have four stars is I wish it was a 50lb bag instead of 40lb. I have 6 horses and I go through at least three bags per feeding twice a day.

Cubes were a little small but, easy to prepare for our older horse.

We like to keep the stock comming up to the gate so we can change fields easily. Both the cattle and the horses think this is quite a treet.

I usually get my Standlee products from my local feedmill. However, they are closed on weekends and I was going to run out before Monday so got a bag of Alfalfa Cubes from TSC. After opening it, I immediately noticed a musty odor as well as an unusual grey/brown color instead of the bright green. After soaking a small batch I almost puked from the moldy smell. Since then I have paid closer attention to manufacture dates as a lot of of their stuff is extremely old but even if it’s not old it must not be stored properly or something because every bag I have gotten has been moldy, dusty, or just very low quality compared to the usual Standlee Products. The Alfalfa/Timothy cubes I got last week are bad too. I have read other reviews about people exchanging for new bags only to be disappointed so I’m not going to be taking these back for new ones.
