I recently bought this coop...my three hens love it. It was very easy for one person to 'snap' it together. It is very roomy and easy to maintain. I built and weatherized a stand and a 5 foot long ramp...don't have to bend down!

Great in theory, poor in execution.

Have had for 3+ months. I am really surprised by these reviews. My number one issue is that its impossible to close the metal clasps on the nesting box side. The alignment is severely off. I double checked all coops walls/roof were snapped into place. I have yet to be able to get the top to lock because of this issue. The other sides lock for the tray is just as bad. The plastic is so thin that the wall actually bends and while I am able to get the tab over the lock, the wall bows severely. I really do not recommend this based off of quality. The idea is great, but the execution was very poor and I will have to look for a new coop soon.

Bad ventilation

I have the large in this coop. Unless you do something to give more ventilation in the winter it'll retain moisture. My chickens were coming out with wet creats. I'm assuming summer time will be an issue as well. I'm getting rid of mine and doing something different. The size and ease is nice but that's not going to help chickens that get frost bite because of moisture.

Highly Recommend this Plastic Coop!

I put this coop together with no problems in a couple of hours. The instructions were clear. I also downloaded the instructions for the stand and build that with 18" legs. The coop base fit perfectly over the stand frame. Highly recommend the stand to get the coop off the ground and provide a space for the ladies underneath. I would recommend attaching the perch a little higher in the coop than the plans call for. Also, this coop fits my three chickens very well. But if I were going to add to the flock, I would want a larger coop than this. Overall this is much better than the cheap little wooden coop I first purchased, that started to fall apart within the first month of use.
