This is My favorite show sheen and I have used them all! I can’t say that it is necessarily the best detangler (I definitely suggest cowboy magic gel detangler for that) But as far as shine, and gleam it the best of the best. I have used several show under my saddle pad, but I would never use this one under my saddle pad as this one is very very slippery. If I was just riding or something, I probably would but I run barrels. My favorite way to use this is to put it on underneath my horses blankets and after a big snowstorm and not seeing him without his blankets on for a long time I pull his blankets off and he looks like 1 million bucks!

I spray on my horse's manes and tails once a week to keep them tangle and dreadlock free! Any debris that is caught up in their tails can easily be taken out without damaging their tails!

I like Shapley's products and this one does not disappoint. Much less expensive than Showsheen and I like it just as much.

I've been using this the last few winters to help keep some of the mud off, but this last bottle smells different (more like vinegar) and not the peppermint I'm used to.
