Works great and able to get the tangles out

a Small amount goes a long way! my horse's tail and mane get so bad sometimes, and this makes easy work of it. There are kids on the property that love putting braids on her and then leaving them. it gets so knotted, even when found the same day. this gets those knotts out super easy and doesn't take a lot of product to do it!

I love this stuff!! And I love the convenient tube that this is in. It makes my horses' manes and tails so sleek and shiny.

I had borrowed a friend's detangler gel (not this brand) and it worked amazingly to get burrs out of the mane. So I got this thinking it would be comparable. First, the bottle isn't what is depicted in the picture; it has a flat top where the product comes out of. I was hoping that a more tip-like top would help squeeze the product into the burr tangle to get it saturated better. But it still works, you just need to use more of it and massage it into the trouble spot. Second, even with using a fair amount of this gel, I still found it difficult to detangle the mane or tail. It eventually works, but isn't super effective as a detangler.
