This is a great produce.I used this all last winter in my woodstove.I used as per instructions and had great results.The cresote dries up and falls to the bottom of the chimney and I just shoveled it out.Have already bought my supply for this winter.Keeps me off the roof and that makes me happy.

Doesn't Work On Garage Woodstove !!

1st off there are 2 different types of this Rutland Chimney Cleaner. I purchased the correct one for wood stoves (not the air-tight) formula. It calls for 1 level scoop once per week. I have severe creosote in my wood stove & piping, so over the course of 2 days following the instructions, I really used probably 10 scoops... it didn't do anything...NOTHING. As a matter of fact, one could argue it actually made the stove creosote worse than it was. This is nothing more than crushed rock salt.
