Would this material be good for joining firebricks for making a forge?

Asked by: CraigD
Yes, if a heat cure can be performed and this will remain indoors. For outdoor use, look into item 600 or 601 for Castable Refractory Cement. This does not require a heat cure and is suitable for outdoor use.

Can this be used on a kamado firebox

Asked by: Bill 67
Rutland Castable Refractory Cement is the best choice for a kamado firebox. Castable can be layered up to 1 ½ inches and can be used outside.
