It is not necessary to use any additional hardener, if desired a clear top coat can be applied to help provide maximum protection and durability. - A: Rust-Oleum Specialty Farm and Implement Enamels can be thinned if using a sprayer, it is not normally required for using a brush or roller. If using an air-atomized sprayer use acetone, up to 15% by volume. If using an airless sprayer for your application, thinning is not normally required, but acetone can be used up to 5% by volume if needed.5 years agoHelpful?

I used this paint on an older tractor I have been restoring. This paint stuck great and covered nicely. Did a little sanding on the parts I painted and it went on great. Spray is strong and even and doesnt run even when put on a little heavy.

This is a great Ford Blue paint! First off, it matched our ford tractor perfectly! We also have a few antique toy tractors we’ve had lying around in desperate need of some love and this paint made them look brand new!
