I wish I had read the reviews before I bought this. It is pretty but it's useless. Food didn't dispense like it should have. Until the bottom fell out and all the safflower seed inside hit the ground. I'm out a bird feeder but at least the birds can now get to the seeds that was in it.

Do not purchase!! Seed does not dispense for birds and ther le is no room for them to access under the glass. Not sure what this is designed for, but certainly NOT for feeding birds. I filled one time, it hung for 2 wks, and then after a rain the base crashed to the ground. Junk!

Huge design flaw

Beautiful feeder but useless! Birds can’t access the food. The space between the feeding port and tray isn’t big enough to allow for food to drop down for birds to access it. I’m not sure how far the glass goes down so i don’t dare try to carve out the wood for more access
