Huge design flaw

Beautiful feeder but useless! Birds can’t access the food. The space between the feeding port and tray isn’t big enough to allow for food to drop down for birds to access it. I’m not sure how far the glass goes down so i don’t dare try to carve out the wood for more access

The description is a lie. It’s NOT cedar. It’s laminate particle “wood”. Closer to paper. Fell apart in the first rain. It’s actually an indoor decorative item. Not meant to be outside.
