Great little but sturdy feeder. We put the bluebird and woodpecker rings on it but it attracts a variety of birds from finches to mockingbirds as well as the woodpeckers.

Not Squirrel Proof!

I purchased this last month along with rings of dried mealworms for my Bluebirds. But the second morning it was out, the squirrel took down the whole thing and dragged it across the yard. He/she ate the whole ring of mealworms!

It does the trick. The hanger is poor and falls off easily but it holds a bill suet cone fine. Priced right.

The local birds really flock to the feeder when I load the feed cylinders on the feeder. The seem to really like the wide base so they can get a good grip while feeding. More birds hang out on this feeder than the standard tupbe-style seed feeders. Woodpeckers are particularly attracted.
Only con I see is the price of the feed cylinders versus regular bird seed.

Easy to use (for me AND the squirrels)

The feeder is easy to fill and fits securely on a hook. It really isn't the feeder's fault, but the squirrels hav learned to ge the feed cone off almost immediately. They drop it to the ground and gorge themselves.
