Rated 5 out of 5 by from Multi-year User We have used the Royal Wing platform feeder for several years and like it so much we ordered two more. Birds seem to like it better than other feeders, they don't waste as much feed, and the finish does not wear off or rust.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great platform feeder Bought a Stokes 3 in 1 feeder at Tractor Supply about 10 years ago and still using. Still in great shape, just doesn’t look new. Just bought the Royal Wing 3 in 1 (same feeder, brand name changed) because it was on special with free shipping. Will use to back up my other one if it ever wears out or if I want to use both of them. Very durable, easy to clean, will last a LONG time. I have mine on a pole and do not use the snap in grate. Just great value for your money. The only thing I liked about the Stokes over the Royal Wing is that the Stokes had even more drain holes...other than that, identical. The drain holes is what’s makes this feeder useable in rainy weather with no roof.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best all-around platform feeder we've found Have had one of these for several years...and it is finally beginning to show enough wear that we decided to purchase a new one. TS is the only place we could find it. We use it as a pole-mounted platform feeder with the tray insert. The is the only type of bird feeder we have besides a hummingbird feeder. Have tried several different kinds, and this particular one has given us the best variety of birds with the ability to view them easily. The bottom of this tray is what really makes us like it...not a screen type but with enough drainage to make it usable to us during all types of weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long lasting Was so happy to find these. Have used for years however when I needed additional ones it was like looking for hens teeth. Nobody but Tractor Supply had them. Thank you, thank you, thank you. They are a great product, easy to clean. For info, I use mine as follows: obtain a treated 4x4 cut to desired length, place in a 4x4 metal post holder, attache a dowel that fits the parameters of the tray attach to the side of the 4x4 and I have a feeder that can be removed and stored until serious wx passes such as a hurricane. I find these last longer than shepards hooks.

Does the feeder have drain holes?

Asked by: Royal39
Yes - this feeder does have drain holes. The entire bottom has small drain holes that are in a grid pattern. Thanks for your question!
