Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good as chicken supplement/treat Excellent quality. The chickens never complained even once. I mix it with 3 parts scratch to 1 part sunflower seeds. They get it all year long.

How are ROYAL WING (specifically) Black Oiled Sunflower Seeds grown? SPECIFIC Question: Do they use ANY pesticides, herbicides or what exactly is their method? If i have ORGANIC fed chickens would this product be considered NATURAL?

The bag reads "not for human consumption." Is this because the factory conditions and associated allergens? If I wash, rinse, and plant the seeds, is it harmful to eat the greens that grow from them?
