Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for money! I have over 20 feeders (yup, a real birdieland in the back yard), which means I have different types of feeders and need different types of seeds to attract (or repel) different birds. I use mostly bird seed mix but have to have safflower in my platform feeders and the bigger ones to stop squirrels and black birds from raiding and emptying them in hours. This is the best value for money safflower seed that I have found. I have purchased and repurchased the 20 lb bag and would highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feast on Safflower Seeds We use multi-type feeders in our back yard and use safflower seeds in them. The finches, cardinals, sparrows, and an occasion blue jay enjoy feasting on the seeds. The doves also enjoy the seeds the smaller birds drop to the ground. We enjoy watching the birds. Also, safflower seeds are not as messy as black oil sunflower seeds, which can contaminate the soil in the flower beds from the shells.

Is the 20# Royal Wing Safflower Seed issue fixed? Is it PURE safflower seed now? I do NOT want the rodents and bears gathering at my feeder again.
