The birds love these seeds. They drain the feeder within hours. Then they wait & watch for us to refill it.

My last day to purchase any birdseed from this company. Seed were smaller than the Black Oil Sunflower seed. Then the Sunflower Kernels went up $30 a bag. Time to shop elsewhere.

I don't know if Royal Wing found a new supplier or what has happened, but the last bag I bought was nothing like what I've been buying for years now. The last bag had little rounder seeds that were half the size as the old ones as opposed to the latter bags which had much bigger flat seeds. The old seeds were more black and these are light grey. The squirrels loved the older ones. They barely touch the ones I'm getting now. I put out Black Oil Sunflower seeds, Sunflower seed hearts, shelled peanut pieces and the Striped Sunflower seeds. These new seeds are the last thing they eat and sit in the feeders for days sometimes before they eat them. They used to be the first thing the squirrels went after. They don't even look like the ones pictured on the bag itself. If future bags look like this, I may be shopping for a different brand.
