Q: How do you dispose of the flies? Is this toxic to dump on ground? Can I feed to chickens?
29 days ago1 Answer
- A: Howdy neighbor! To dispose of the caught flies, you can simply dump them straight on the ground or into a compost pile because the all-natural bait contains zero toxic chemical poisons. You can absolutely feed the mountain of dry, dehydrated flies from the main 5-gallon bucket to your chickens as a safe, high-protein treat. However, you must throw away the wet, smelly sludge from the small central core canister, as that stagnant water can harbor harmful bacteria that could make your flock sick.26 days agoHelpful?
Q: I’m confused how this works, what else do you buy to go with this??
3 months ago1 Answer
- AI-generated, Human-approvedA: This is just the bucket top lid. You'll need to purchase a RESCUE! Reusable Outdoor Fly Trap (SKU #2212213) or POP! Fly Trap (SKU #1262434) separately, along with a standard 5-gallon bucket to create the complete fly trap system.3 months agoHelpful?

Q: The flies that get caught in the bucket but not the solution- are they safe to feed to chickens?
11 months ago1 Answer
- A: Yes, the flies caught in the bucket can be fed to chickens. Thank you for asking!11 months agoHelpful?
Q: Then what is the purpose of not sealing? Then the fly's get out which defeats the purpose
a year ago1 Answer
- A: Hello, thank you for your question. The Rescue Fly Bucket Top is designed with a one-way entry system that attracts flies in but makes it very difficult for them to escape. While the top may not be airtight, it’s not meant to be — sealing it completely would block the scent of the attractant, which is what lures the flies in. The design ensures strong airflow to disperse the bait’s odor while still trapping the flies effectively once they enter.a year agoHelpful?
