I have been looking everywhere for a five gallon food grade bucket. I was supprised when I saw a big round label on this bucket that said food grade! What is supprising is that TSC does not tell you this on thier website. This bucket is made from HDPE and is BPA free. I will be using it to collect Maple sap.

Lids DO NOT FIT*** bucket rims are too big!!!

I purchased 2 buckets w/2 lids online. When I get them home, the lids do not fit even with my big rear end sitting on it!!! I tried an old lid, they don't fit this bucket either but fits my older buckets just fine. Do not buy online. Go in and verify they fit before wasting your time and gas for JUNK that has to be returned.

I use these buckets to transport corn around my ranch. When the lid snap on they are on.! Keeps me from having loose corn sledding around in the back of my pick up!
Last time I bought these buckets from tractor supply was about seven years ago. Even sitting in all that hot sunlight here in Texas, these buckets held up well and didn't get brittle and break apart.

Fantastic Product

Fantastic bucket. Needed something to store the bird seed thru the winter and after buying several screw-on type lids, I needed a large sturdy storage bucket and Tractor Supply had what I needed. The staff was also very helpful in finding what I needed and escorted me to where it was located even though I declined needing to be escorted by them because it would take them away from what they had been doing. But she escorted me nonetheless. Super friendly folks!
