Q: How long are the copper capsules good for? I only have two goats, so I feel like 25 might be overkill

- A: Hello, Usually these will last about two years after being made. The current longest dated batch we have in stock expires 07/28/2024. If you would like a longer dated batch, be sure to put it in the customer comments of your order.3 years ago
Q: Is it safe to open the capsule and put the copper in a fig newton? I've been doing it this way for some time but a friend of mine said that they are slow release and this is not a good way to administer.

I cannot say much as for product efectivity as we are going to do the boluses in a few weeks, but I've read a lot of science papers and also experiences of breeders worldwide and I am happy that such a product with slow release copper is a available, I prefer it and find it much safer than free daily served minerals

Essential for raising goats

I've been using these annually for several years now. Absolutely necessary in my area and I highly recommend. I only wish they came in an 8 gram option.
