This Gordon's Permethrin 10 Livestock and Premise Spray is a concentrated permethrin insecticide formulation that kills insects. Use this permethrin insect repellent outdoors or in non-food areas of dairies, barns, swine houses and kennels. The 32 oz. size is perfect for treating a variety of areas, keeping animals comfortable. This spray can be used with poultry, dairy and beef cattle, swine, horses, goats and sheep for convenience.

I mixed this with a concentrate formula I found for a yard spray for mosquitos. Lasts a couple weeks then you need to respray (in my area, at least), but helps. And wanted to say that despite what Paige said in her review, permethrine is a synthetic insecticide, and is toxic to cats (dogs and other mammals are safe) and most aquatic life (cold blooded animals are specifically affected), so don't spray near ponds, streams, etc.

Does not keep flies off and does not keep them from biting it will not keep the stable flies away will not keep deer fly away they still bite makes sores everywhere

Effective mite treatment for chickens

I use this to treat Nothern Foul Mites. I mix 1.5-3oz in 5gl warm water to soak birds in. Then use it to spray the coop. It does not kill eggs. The flame torch does that. I do this treatment everyspring 3x seperated by 10 days. This is the best most effective product that does not require a egg withdrawl period. My birds thank me for the preventative measures as this mite is very common around here.

Drastic reduction in amount of flies and other insects around trash cans and perimeter of structures. Doesn't completely rid the area of flies, but we'll take the reduction in numbers. Certainly our treatment of choice at this point.
