The coop and run were easy to put together. Everything fit together correctly. There are some areas that would cause a draft so those have to be sealed up and it needs insulated but otherwise a great purchase

Generally speaking the quality of the cook is pretty low. The paint on the wood is very thin, many of the roosting supports arrived cracked, and the metal feet on the coop have all the paint scratched away from shipping. Once assembled there are massive gaps and the doors barely stay closed. I’ll have to make a lot of alterations to make the coop secure. The 200 dollar savings will easily be offset by fixes and changes to make the coop decent.

Putting the coop together was fairly time consuming. The chickens really like it and are more than happy to go to bed every night. As soon as I walk up they head inside. It keeps the chickens safe and secure from predators. I did elevate it a few inches by setting it on 12" square concrete blocks to keep it from sitting directly on the ground. The directions needed to be a little more detailed. The door latches are not very secure and do not work very well. Nice height and since I am not very tall I can walk in and stand upright. The ventilation could be better. To get any cross ventilation, you have to have the window on the door open and the chicken door open.
