If I purchase galvanized steel poultry netting and connect this to the wiring with wooden fence posts, will the charge be strong enough to keep birds off of my fruits and vegetables?

Asked by: BHatch27
This bird has to come into contact with the ground and the hot wire at the same time in order to feel a shock. If the bird is sitting on the netting, it would not get shocked.

how many watts and amps does this consume?

Asked by: steve1977
This is equivalent to a 25 W light bulb; very low usage.
