- A: Hi there, This is the information I received from the vendor- This item is designed to work with our HD 1200, HD 1500, HD Max, and HDM 1400. The max capacity for the largest, the HD Max, is 1800 LB. This coupler is not designed for use on the road and maximum tow speed for the units it is compatible with is 10 MPH.3 years agoHelpful?

Works as advertised. If you’re going to be driving over uneven terrain or off-road you should consider “swivel” couplers that allow greater range of tilt.

This is a really nice coupler. It is really good quality and is very sturdy and durable. It’s easy to use. I haven’t experienced any problems while using the coupler. I really like how it allows for quick set up and take off from the trailer. I believe I will get a good amount of t of use out of it.
