Q: Wil this jack work with a Cub Cadet ZT1 50"?

1 Answer
  • A: This lift will work with your Cub ZT1, in some cases the front wheels may need to be inverted (think the direction the wheels are when backing up) this allows additional clearance for the deck wheel to not come in contact with the lift body. Simply back up a couple of feet, then place the lift against the inverted wheels and drive on. Enjoy your purchase.

Great Product to Replace Mower Blades!

I read the reviews before purchasing this product and was very reluctant to purchase it due to the problem with the jack. I took a shot at it anyway and was very pleasantly surprised! This jack pretty much was ready to use straight out of the box. I pulled it out, set up the tire racks and after driving the mower onto the racks; lifted the mower efficiently within 5 minutes. The problems others reported of the jack not working could have come from them not verifying the screw to release pressure and lower the jack was not tight. I confirmed it was tight prior to attempting to jack it up. Worked flawlessly for me. I also have experience with bottle jacks like this one and its not many things that will go bad with them. I truly love this product and it saved me tons of time changing blades and sharpening blades. I have two John Deere Mowers to work on and I replaced one set of blades and removed, sharpened and replaced the other with ease. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating was longevity of the product. As time passes I will update as necessary. If you compared this product to other stores your going to pay hundreds more for equal lift value; or eighty dollars less for lower quality and lift value. So if you are looking for a reasonable priced product that works this is the jack for you!

Locking safety arms are not safe

The jack works good. Raised my mower to the height I needed and then secured the locking arms in place. When I went to lower the mower I raised it a few inches and released the locking arms. The mower started to lower and then stopped. I noticed both locking arms were slightly twisted and bent preventing the mower from being lowered down. I had to remove the locking arms to lower the mower. The locking arms were discarded. I use adjustable jack stands in the future once the unit I need to work on is raised up.

MoJack 26 in. 550 lb. Capacity Hyd Mower Deck Lift

Jack is good quality, and provides a quick way to lift mower up to clean deck and perform other maintenance, like checking blade sharpness and removal. Jack adjusts to various width mowers and with a 550 lb capacity, will cover a variety of conventional or zero turn riding mowers. I fold it up to about an 8 in thickness and can be secured to the wall conveniently. I highly recommend this jack.

Strong, safe, and secure.

This is extremely solid and well built. I have no concerns for safety when under the mower using this lift. There’s no complicated assembly either. The only reason that I don’t give this 5 stars is that I feels it’s a bit overpriced, but you can see the construction is there compared to others.

Right size at right sales price

Easy to put together. Right size. Does the job with a couple glitches -Functional hydraulic pressure release a bit glitchy. Isn’t hand tighten. Need to use pliers to get it to engage…and disengage. Hoping it isn’t a sign of cheaply made ie troubled to come. And part is replaceable if it comes to that. - Bar to pump hydraulic jack bump is too close to the front of my John Deere lawn/garden tractor when starting to lift…..lafter tractor lifts up some it works ok. Needed to get a shorter pipe to get it started
