The Pirtle Nursery Robinson Crabapple provides incredible color with medium growth. An attractive, compact tree with low maintenance perfect for small lots and spaces. The Robinson Crabapple has dark green leaves with an almost purple hue. In the spring, reddish pink flowers will bloom and cover the tree. The flowers will provide purple-red fruits that will continue to remain until winter as a food source for birds.
- Includes one Robinson Crabapple tree in a #5 pot (3.74 gal.) and detailed planting instructions.
- Blooms in spring with reddish pink flowers, with dark green leaves. Purple-red fruits will appear providing food source for birds. The Robinson Crabapple is self-pollinating; however, adding an additional Robinson Crabapple will increase blooms and fruit.
- Best grown in USDA Hardiness Zones 4-8.
- Plant in full sun. Prefers moist, acidic, loamy and well-drained soil.
- Mature height will be 15-20 feet. Mature width will be 15-25 feet.
