Q: Will this work for a small (7 pound) microchipped chihuahua?

One way locking means other cats figured it out

Installed this a month ago to replace a non-chip activated cat flap. Within a few weeks a neighbour’s cat had figured out how to access the cat flap by pulling it outwards. I now realise that some other models have the locking mechanism in both directions but this one doesn’t so I’m going to have to buy yet another cat flap from somewhere else. I’d like a refund on this one as the one direction lock is a design flaw.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Die Klappe funktioniert mit unserer gechipten Katze einwandfrei.ABER Waschbären kommen rein! und plündern die Essensvorräte! Waschbären öffnen die Klappe nach außen! Also Vorsicht, es ist eine klar andere Erfahrung als bei anderer Bewertung samt Foto!

Unfortunately doesn't seem to work well for my cat but is letting a neighbour's cat in - not sure how. Sadly a waste of money for me
