This Permatex Gasket Maker High Temperature Anaerobic Flange Sealant is a high temperature sealant specifically engineered for use in rigid assemblies. The flange sealant is able to withstand temperatures up to 400F (204C) and fills gaps up to 0.020 in. (primed). It also permits clamping loads to be maintained for strong, leak-proof assemblies.

- Automobile flange sealant volume: 50 ml tube
- Gasket-making directions: Clean both flange surfaces and remove paint, dirt, grease or old gasket completely.Spray Permatex Surface Prep activator on one surface only and allow it to dry 1-2 minutes. Apply a continuous bead of sealant to the unprimed surface. Assemble the mating surfaces with minimal lateral movement. Excess sealant can be wiped away with a cloth and shop solvent.
- Gasket-dressing directions: Clean both flange surfaces and remove paint, dirt, grease or old gasket completely. Spray Permatex Surface Prep activator on one surface only and allow it to dry 1-2 minutes. Completely cover both sides of the pre-cut gasket with sealant and place the coated gasket on the flange. Assemble mating surfaces with minimal lateral movement.
