Q: How will this hold up as a low pressure hydraulic oil gasket on a valve?

- A: It may work for this valve application. As a general rule nitrile cork has good oil resistance at very low pressures and temperatures up to 240 degrees Fahrenheit.3 years agoHelpful?

- A: This material is a cork/rubber composite that will work well with straight gasoline but when exposed to an ethanol blend the material will swell. If the material is inside a housing it will maintain a seal but if it needs to be removed from the application the gasket will not be the same size as it was when initially installed making re installation impossible.6 years agoHelpful?
