This Permatex High Temperature Thread Lock is a high-temperature and high-strength threadlocker for heavy-duty applications. It prevents bolts and press fits 3/8 to 1-1/2 inches (10mm to 38mm) in size from loosening due to shock, severe vibration, and heat stress. The exclusive formulation of this automobile thread lock is for newer engines and high performance applications that require extreme temperature resistance. Suited for temperatures up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit (232 degrees Celsius), this high-temperature thread lock is removable with heat and hand tools.

Directions: Clean and dry parts using Permatex Surface Prep activator and shake the bottle of high temperature Threadlocker Red well before each use. Remove the cap and snip the nozzle tip, then apply the threadlocker to threaded areas and assemble parts.
Works on metal parts and is not recommended for plastics
Must be heated to 500 to 600 F (260 to 316 C) before parts will separate
