The LG LW8017ERSM1 is not only cool...it's SMART! Cool your home from anywhere using LG ThinQ technology to control your air conditioner with your phone or use with Amazon Alexa and Hey Google to have control with the sound of your voice. This quiet unit is ideal for cooling medium rooms up to 350 sq. ft. The unit has 3 cooling and fan speeds and a 24 hour timer to create a cooling schedule. 4-way air deflection lets the flow of air be directed where it's needed most whether cooling, dehumidifying or just circulating air. I am pleased with my new LW8017ERSM1 a/c window unit. It is one of those things that you think what took me so long to replace the old one. It is quiet, efficient, airflow is good, and best of all cools room well. So far so good. It was also easy to install.

Standard design AC. Noise level was typical for a window unit. Install was standard. Not sure energy efficiency just yet. Overall it performs as expected so no stars were deducted.

I’ve been using the LG Room Air Conditioner for a few weeks now, and overall, it’s been a great AC. It cools the room quickly and efficiently, even during peak summer heat. The unit is relatively quiet for its power level, making it comfortable to use during the night without disturbing sleep.

I did take this out, install and use for a few days that it got warm here and in the time I got to use it, it is the best window unit I've ever owned. Easy to install and cool room quickly and quietly! Seems to be much more energy efficient as well, since it cools without overvworking it. Love that i can controll from my Google or app on my phone and turn on from anywhere. Another cool feature is if power goes out, AC turns itself back on when power is restored. If you looking for a new AC unit, this is the one!
