Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible product I was reading the bad comments before about I’ve purchased the stove but I decided to give it a chance.. What a big mistake! This piece of junk give us problems from day one. Buyers beware. I would have to mention the “Tractor supply” were amazing and eventually refund the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great. Runs great. Puts out a lot of heat. Have had for 2 months and no problems. Glass gets dirty after 2 days but could be from the pellets I burn. Runs cheaper than a heat pump.

What is the best type of pellets to use for this stove?

Asked by: waterguy34
We recommend "low-ash" pellets so you save time cleaning your stove. Generally, the cheapest pellet is not always the best. Spending a little more on pellets will save you time throughout the heating season.

I just purchased the TSC90 and it’s working great except the glass gets very dirty very quickly. Can you recommend something to fix this. I love the stove. My house is toasty warm

Asked by: Marie7
Hey Marie, we're so happy to hear your new stove is keeping you warm. Directions on how to address dirty glass can be found in the manual under the section "Trim Adjustment." We hope you're able to find a solution there! Thanks.--Meghan at PelPro

This stove heats up to 2200 square feet. How dies it perform in small spaces? We have 800 square feet and I am wondering if it will burn steady and clean? I have read some stoves are dirty and inefficient at lower burn rates

Asked by: Jim9955
Good questions. The stove's onboard computer keeps it burning clean at all burn rates but if your 800 square feet is decently insulated and does not have very tall ceilings and you don't live in a very cold climate, this stove may be too much heat for your space which would cause the stove to shut down a lot. Unless you need the extra heat, I might recommend the PelPro PP60 for a slightly smaller space.

I will be piping the pellet stove into my 6” thimble from my old wood stove. The chimney has an individual flue for this and I've also had excellent draft. Do you recommend 3" or 4" stove pipe for this installation? Thank you!

Asked by: Keithbeard
The installation manual has helpful diagrams and a chart that shows when you would need to go to 4" but if you are converting to 6" chimney we highly recommend minimizing the number of elbows and using a clean out tee at the bottom to make future cleaning easier.

What fuel do you recomend to use with this stove? we are looking to purchase one today.

Asked by: DanielleB
We recommend a high-quality wood pellet. In general, spending a little more on pellets means less cleaning over the heating season.

does this stove require a hearth pad under it?

Asked by: booberry
This stove requires a noncombustible surface under it. If installing over carpet or wood or some other combustible floor then protecting that floor with a Type 1 (ember protection) hearthpad is required to be safe.
