- A: We currently have 8 chickens in there with enough room for a few more if we wanted. But we also have a lot of space outside for the chickens to run during the day. In the coldest time of the year when the chickens stay indoors more it can get a little crowded and requires more frequent cleaning.5 years agoHelpful?
