Awesome Coop Covers

I wanted to extend my 10’x10’ Defender Coop but there was no direct extension available. So I purchased the 8’x8’ Universal enclosure and attached the frame to the defender coop with 1” x 1” pipe clamps, removed the opening on the Universal coop and cut a square opening adjacent to the Universal opening to access the new coop to the Defender coop. I installed the Universal cover seamlessly which matches the Defender cover that I already had installed. Both covers are very secure with their mounting straps and have experienced high winds without any issues. Like any fabric covering, I expect to get several years of service from both covers. I have replaced my Defender cover recently after two and a half years of service, which I believe is reasonable. Some folks use a tarp and bungee cords to cover their coops. I personally like the fit and appearance of these specific covers and if you purchase a equivalent tarp and bungee cords, the cost for either solution is about the same. The installation of these covers are easy and secured in about 30 minutes. I strongly recommend these covers for both the Defender Coop and the Universal Coop!
