Q: How is this cover different from the one that's $50 more but listed as a cover for the OverEz Walk in Run? (Both runs are made by Rugged Ranch and look very similar to me. Are the covers the same?)

- A: Hi, The OverEZ cover is listed as heavy duty and weatherproof. HOW TO USE COMPARE FEATURE The Tractor Supply website has an awesome comparison feature! 1. Simply head back over to the website, search search brand name/product name you want to compare and it will pull up a list of all available items. 2. Scroll through the options and in the lower left hand corner of each product is a small box and the word compare. Click on up to 4 different boxes/items. 3. Wet chickens!

I purchased the cover earlier this summer and was originally pleased. It looks good, much better than the tarp I was using and it was easy to out on. However, I quickly learned this tarp was not designed to provide any type of protection from wet weather. Didn't seem like a major issue as the rainy season began, just had to move the chicken feeder. With more rain came more leaks, it leaks everywhere and my poor chickens no longer have any dry area outside of the coop. I was better off with the $30 tarp that I had to replace every year. Unfortunately, it's the middle of our rainy season and there's not a lot I can do to fix the issue now. This is probably a wonderful buy if you live in the desert.

Not useful with an extension run

We purchased this cover with our initial run and it fit well but this does not fit over an extension. Also it is NOT waterproof. Just helps with keeping the sun off the chicks.

Arrived damaged and no contact info

The coop arrived on a sealed pallet with giant holes through it. There is no link for claims and now the item isn't even listed on the website any longer. Stuck with a pallet in my driveway and no way to contact who is responsible.
