The On Time Feeders Solar Elite Fish Feeder Combo comes with a one piece hopper and steel band with welded brackets for mounting to a 4x4 dock post (post not included). It comes with the Solar Elite Fish Feeder which includes a built in agitator rod to keep feed flowing properly. The fish feeder can be set 1 to 6 times a day from 1 to 30 seconds. Its hopper holds 25 gal.

Q: How are pellets dispensed onto the water? Are they dropped at edge of water or “shot “ further out over the water?

- A: This unit throws 360 degrees out, but it comes with a deflector plate which blocks it to 180 degrees. Some feed does drop under the feeder, and it also disperses out to the front.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: Do you actually sell the 25 Gal Solar Elite On Time Feeder as pictured? I purchased on last year and the tub came with a cheap plastic snap on top.I returned it for a replacement...and CRICKETS!

Stopped working in three weeks

Installed this feeder on my property in Mineral Wells. I am able to monitor this device from a game camera that I have on my stock tank. I noticed it stopped working about three weeks after install. I live out of state, so I will need to travel back to investigate. I assume there is something wrong with the power source. Not very please so far with this product. Would appreciate if the vendor would help me out

Poor design

Rated low due to design and lack of instructions.
First, no install instructions in the box. While it is logical, there still should be written directors for folks who have
never set timers up before.
Two, after install we had 4 days of rain which promptly clogged up the hopper rendering it unusable until I emptied
and cleaned the entire 50 pounds of feed. The cone for the hopper has no seal, gasket or silicone so it leaked
water in which created a paste. The so called arm which prevents this obviously couldn't deal with the paste and
broke.
I'm giving it another week after my repairs to see what happens.

Not the feeder as pictured

The tub on the feeder had a simple top cover that loosely snapped onto the feeder tub. The unit pictured and advertised online has a locking band that holds the lid in place.
No, I do not recommend this product.
