- A: Hi Suzy! As long as the size is comparable with a kernel of corn and feed is not sticky it should work, but please note that it will throw feed out in a circle, not drop in a pile. If you are looking for a feeder that will drop non-sticky feed in a pile, you would want to take a look at the Shakedown Feeder (item# 74000) or the Shakedown XL Feeder (item# 73500).11 months agoHelpful?

- A: As long as the size is comparable with a kernel of corn and feed is not sticky it should work, but please note that it will throw feed out in a circle, not drop in a pile. If you would be interested in a feeder that would drop feed straight down check out item# 74000 or 73500 for our Shakedown & Shakedown XL Feeders, these units do drop feed straight down and are also adjustable to different sized feed.a year agoHelpful?

- A: This unit disperses approximately 1 lb of corn per 8 seconds. It throws it out 360 degrees. If you are looking for a feeder that will feed in a pile, you would want to look at the Shakedown Feeder, item# 74000.3 years agoHelpful?

On Time Tomahawk Feeder
a year ago
2 issues, Lid is plastic and squirrels will chew holes in it. Place a small mesh wire covering over the lid.
2nd it says 6 or 12volt in the manual. 12volts will over speed the motor to the point that the spinner plate will tear or separate and jam it. Stay with 6 volts, Good all around feeder.
