- A: Hi Bob, I'm not quite sure exactly what you are needing. This Tomahawk Hanger has a barrel that is approximately 29" tall, and the Tomahawk Timer that mounts to the bottom of the barrel is about 12" tall including the funnel. - A: Hi, No, this feeder only throws corn via the spinplate. If you are looking for a feeder that drops feed, I would suggest taking a look at the Shakedown (item# 74000) and Shakedown XL (item# 73500) feeders. These units are adjustable to feed anything from rice bran to corn (just nothing sticky should be used), and they drop the feed straight down from the hopper.a year agoHelpful?

Would be 5 stars if timer was easier to set

Works for what i wanted, to get it high up in the trees to avoid detection and bear activity. Would be five starts if the timer was easier to set. you have to click it for every minute of the day, and cant toggle between hours and minutes. so setting for 8 am you have to hit the button 480 times, the for 4 pm its 960 times. A real pain to set.
