Quality Feed

I was given an 8 year old gelding that was skin and bones and this product was referred to me by a 40 yr horse keeper. I got him from 875 pounds in July 2015 when he was given to me to 1150 pounds by December 2025. He was given free range quality hay, 2 gallons of this grain twice a day and 2 quarts of alfalfa cubes twice a day. He is now a happy, healthy animal, and kept his weight on thru the harsh winter we had this year in NC thanks to Nutrena.

Guaranteed analysis can't be trusted

If you compare the label on the bag of this product to the one on the Corp. website they are very different. If you are looking for sugar and starch content, you will not find that information anywhere. And since these products are made at different plants, you can't trust the Guaranteed Analysis. If you can't trust the guaranteed analysis, what value it the product really?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been feeding this feed for months now… and my horses look better than ever. It’s easy to digest so my older horses who have a hard time chewing can eat this with ease, my horses who risk choking can also eat this without it being soaked!
