Item Information

Stock Tank Secret eliminates the hassle of dumping and scrubbing slimy green, unsanitary livestock water tanks! Completely safe and chemical-free 100% organic barley straw helps keep stock tanks clean to maintain palatable drinking water. It's easy to use and lasts for up to two months.

It's a completely safe and effective treatment that contains no chemicals, pesticides or herbicides and has no toxic side effects. Commonly used by horse owners, it can be used with cattle, goats, sheep, swine, poultry, fish and even exotic animals like alpacas and llamas. It can be used in automatic waterers, larger birdbaths, ornamental ponds and fountains.

To use Stock Tank Secret, tear off the paper label and place the unopened burlap bag in tank. One bag is good for an average 200-gallon stock tank. For larger or extremely dirty tanks, use two bags. It begins working immediately, but it may take 7-10 days for you to notice its effects. Scoop out any floating debris.

  • Replace every two months
  • Burlap bag is completely biodegradable
  • Made with pride in the heartland of Nebraska, USA

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Grows algae! Put it in a 75 gallon stick tank after scrubbing completely clean. It did the complete opposite of keeping it a bay. It in fact grew more and used the bag to grow on. We lifted it up out if he water and there were 6" slim strings I guess you'd call them. It used the bag to hang onto and grew length wise not just on the sides but more was floating around.
