We have been using DuMor Equistages for over a year. Suddenly the grain is lighter colored and the horses are turning away from it. It is unusual for a horse to ignore grain! Has there been some ingredient change we're not aware of?

Asked by: RJJames
It could be returned to TSC to be replaced. If it is the new product, the horses may simply need to acclimate to it, as it is a new formulation.

Does this product contain corn? And is free choice hay reccomended with this?

Asked by: Lawilliams22090
Hay should be offered based on animal’s life stage, activity level and condition. Adult horses need a minimum of 1% of their body weight in hay. So a 1000 lb. horse needs a MINIMUM of 10 lbs of hay.
