Equistages is a very complete and easy to feed, feed for your horses. I have researched the label and found it to be quite compatible to other more expensive blends and to include more nutrients for your horse. One of the ingredients it offers is biotin which is beneficial for their hoofs and coat and has a higher fat and fiber rating than most requiring less to feed. I have used it for several years now and like using it if I get a horse that needs to have weight put on him.

We've been feeding this to our 35 year old gelding for several months. Last week we found a lot of mold in a bag we had fed him some of. Thought maybe we had gotten it wet so we bought another bag. It also was molded. Took both back and got our money back, substituted a Purina product. Decided to try it again this week. Unloaded the bag at home, and it felt warm. Opened it up, and the feed was hot. Literally. And very moldy. Will be returning it also. Fortunately our old gelding never got enough of it to make him sick

So good that that the feed isn't stored on the concrete floor any more. Had to return several bags because they had drawn moisture. Their stock of this feed seems to always be low. I went yesterday (Oct. 25) to purchase a few bags and they were out of stock.
