The energetic foliage of the Croton Petra is guaranteed to stop any visitor in their tracks. Deep greens are enhanced with colors of orange, yellow, red, and sometimes pink and purple. Bright, indirect sunlight makes this plant happy, along with moist but well-draining soil. For optimal foliage colors, sunbathing should be at least 4 hours. Best grown in USDA hardiness zones 9-11, but will perform well as an annual or house plant in all zones.
