- A: That particular adapter is F276329, the propane cylinder fill plug (7/8" Female P.O.L. x Male Plug) for use with Mr. Heater's Gas Mate II Quick Connects (F276334). It is used for filling the tank with the Gas Mate II in place. For refilling 1 lb. propane cylinders you want to use F276172, the propane tank refill adapter. This adapter has a female throwaway cylinder thread on one end and a soft nose P.O.L. on the other, and refills 1 lb. bottles in 1 minute or less.
