The Mighty Mule MM-LPS13-S Bonus Package Compact Slide Gate Opener is designed for residential single slide gates. The operator of this sliding gate opener is compatible with gate panels weighing up to 650 lb. and 24 ft. in length. This Mighty Mule compact slide gate opener is designed for all types of gates including: chain link, tube, panel, ornamental, wood, and vinyl. This dynamic operator can be mounted various ways including concrete, on a mount post, or to an existing mounting pad. Included with this driveway gate opener is a standard safety feature, Internal Friction Brake Lock, that locks the gate in the closed position for added safety and security.

Q: can this work with a universal keypad? and can you also link it to your car's Homelink system?

- A: The Mighty Mule systems operate off of a proprietary 318mHZ RF frequency so as long as the universal keypad can transmit on that frequency it should work but the MM-LPS13 receiver also utilizes dipswitch technology. As for the homelink it should pair directly to the transmitter that comes with the kit but we do refer customers to check with their vehicle owners manual and verify with their vehicle manufacturer to make sure that year/make/model is compatible as we do not know every vehicles compatibility. - A: All Mighty Mule gate openers are low voltage systems, powered by a 12 Volt battery back-up system. The battery can be charged and maintained with the included transformer OR with optional FM123 10-Watt Solar Power Kit.
