Bad Rebrand

I've been feeding my 5 resident cats and over a dozen foster cats the original recipe of this food for years. I will no longer be feeding them this product due to the addition of menadione sodium bisulfite.
I am incredibly disappointed in the decision to add this synethetic vitamin K compound that has been showing increased risks for kidney and liver failure. Cats are already at such high risk of developing kidney disease as they age and I refuse to have their food contribute to the possibility.

Not the same formula

The newest bag is definitely a different formula. The kibble is a different color and my cat doesn’t want it. I’m so mad because we had just switched to this a couple of months ago. Now I have to find a new food and start over.

Switching to worse ingredients after years

My cats loved the yellow bag chicken and sweet potato cat food, I’ve been getting it for years. Now the bag came pink so I checked the ingredients and they have changed significantly enough that I will be finding a new cat food. They have removed the salmon oil, several vitamins and mineral, AND added a bunch of crappy filler ingredients. The old recipe first 8 ingredients were meat or veggies, the new recipe ingredient 3 and 4 are potato starches (cassava and potato protein) then they switch from chicken fat to beef fat. And they took out the probiotics entirely. This one a clearly cost cutting and quality decreasing. So I will not continue to pay the same price for a downgraded product.

Ingredient change

My cats used to love this. When I originally bought it, it had fish oil, but at some point it seems it was replaced with salmon oil. I, as a consumer, was never alerted. One of my cats has some sort of salmon intolerance. My cat was sporadically throwing up and I didn’t know why. I re read the ingredients today and found the salmon oil. Very disappointed. This is not a “minor” change.
