Gave our multiple cats 9 Lives for years, but felt like something had changed in its formula(coats dull, stomach issues, weight loss). Also, acquired a couple cats that couldn't eat it at all-throwing up, diarrhea. After a year of searching for affordable dye-free food, we found this. We mix it with 4Health wet and the allergy-type symptoms and weight loss has gradually diminished. No more throwing up or diarrhea from dyes! Reasonably priced for bag size.

My outdoor cat does really well on this food. It seems to give him all the nutrients and energy he needs to do his outside cat things!

I don't usually write reviews. However, I think this cat food needs it. All four of our cats disliked it, greatly. But, you know who did love it? The flies!! Two cats are outdoors. We have never had such a fly problem as we did with this food sitting around. Of course just outside of our backdoor is where they get fed. It was a nightmare trying to get in and out of the house with the amount of flies this food brought to our porch. I can only imagine how badly this food must smell to an animal if the flies loved it that much...
