I’ve been using the Medalist Portion Pro Smart Feeder for a few weeks now, and it’s made feeding a lot easier ! I originally got it to help stay consistent with feeding times when my schedule gets hectic, and it’s definitely delivered on that. Setup was straightforward, and once it was running, it’s been very reliable. I usually adjust the schedule through the app, which is convenient, especially when I’m not at the barn. Portion control has been spot on and has helped cut down on overfeeding and wasted pellets. The feeder itself feels sturdy and well built. Ours is mounted in an area that gets some weather, and it’s held up well so far—no issues with rain or dust. The large capacity is also a big plus since I don’t have to refill it constantly ! We’re using both feeding tubes for two horses, and it’s been working smoothly. Once you have it, it’s hard to go back ! It saves time, keeps feeding consistent, and gives a little extra peace of mind. Overall, very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone looking to simplify their feeding routine :)
