We were disappointed with this feeder. We were hoping to install it as a swing out feeder but that didnt work. The welds weren't very good either, so we returned it.

My horse is a cribbed, tore this up first week. Cannot find replacement parts for feed bucket. They are odd size, much smaller than the usual 6 gallon feeders you find normally which are too large to work with the swinging doors. Very disappointed.

I bought these for a barn we had just built, I wanted to keep the hay off the ground, and the grain feeder attached is a plus. I am short 5ft, and in order to put the hay in these it is falling in my face. If you feed grain at the same time the horse has to press their face into the hay to eat from the feeder. The bottom is small enough that most of the hay ends up on the ground anyways. It is well made, but for the price it would be nice if they sent hardware for a couple of mounting options, the bolts were so short we couldn't get them through the plywood walls and had to buy new bolts to make it work. For the price, I am disappointed, but it might work better for someone taller.
