Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cheap clutch when installed correctly!!! I have these clutches on all my kids toys and now have one on my drift trike which has a 200cc engine and is as high performance as you can get. Im 200lbs and abuse my trike daily and this clutch performs perfect. All these bad reviews are because they installed the clutch without taking 5 minutes and sandpaper to clean the contact surface inside the clutch. They come from the factory with a thick layer of paint to prevent rust and this HAS to be removed and all contact surfaces cleaned with brakleen before installing (including the weights that contact the steel). As for the sprockets wearing out so fast Im willing to bet the clutch has not been shimmed correctly. Fractions of an inch make a huge difference on something that is rotating at such a high RPM. Dont be scared away by the bad reviews, If you take the time and install these correctly they are a great cheap clutch. I spent three times as much on the clutch this one replaced and will never make that mistake again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk I bought this clutch 2 days ago and it is already not working properly. It walks up the output shaft because it doesn't have set screws to hold it in place. I should've waited and ordered one from supplier

Does the rotation of the clutch matter? Can I install it with the sprocket facing the engine or dose it have to face out away from the engine

Asked by: Bobby77
This would need to be installed with the sprocket facing away from the engine.
